My new job has me excited. I'm going to get to help organizations build data science capabilities and grow teams. It's a big career step and it has me both anxious and excited.
If you told me a few years ago that I'd be taking a train across the German countryside to start a job as lead data scientist for a major tech firm I'd definitely look at you like you had three heads.
But one of the things that has me really excited about this company is that commitment to social justice is a core value of the company and was actually a part of the interview process.
