As you can see, you can buy it for $150, and it is far higher quality material and construction than what a 3D printer puts out.

It is true that this part alone is untraceable (no serial #) and undetectable by a metal detector. However, it is still detectable by xray and backscatter devices. It is 100% legal and has been for a while. It also cannot shoot anything.

In order to make this work you need a firing pin assembly, a trigger assembly, a barrel, and a slide. Almost all of which are made out of steel alloy.pic.twitter.com/fw3q8qbXwU

This is the current status quo. Printing your own polymer lower changes nothing. It's not even illegal right now. No laws are changing. This is literally an energy sink.
