The 3D printed guns still require metal barrels, firing components, and recoil springs, all of which are detectable through conventional means. The 3D printed version are no different than what you can buy, e.g. here It is incorrect, as they still need metal components to work.

You don't have to debate.. 80% lowers are readily available and -- yes, are not traceable and not detectable via metal detectors (but are detectable on imaging devices). They cannot fire bullets, however. This is fact, not up for debate.
