Math is wild sometimes. You'll learn about a concept like the Radon-Nikodym Theorem, which is a distinctly non-trivial bit of mathematics, and then you can later discover, oh wait, no that's just a special case of some even bigger theorem.

Ehhh, I go to Math Wikipedia for refreshers on all the things I forgot from College Algebra when implementing crypto. It has its uses.
