Vasili Pistolis, the US Marine who bragged about assaulting me in August, has faced a court martial.https://twitter.com/JeffSchogol/status/1008832894998020096 …

The Marines chose to let a Nazi continue to be a Marine. Let's be really fucking clear about that hm?

Let's also be really clear that yet another Nazi got caught lying. Nazis murder, Nazis lie.

There is more to this story, so I'm not real upset, aside from the whole, "a Nazi is staying in the Marines" bit. This story isn't over.

Some more to this story: others have correctly pointed out that this was a *sunmary* court martial, which I overlooked and learned that it has a max punishment equal to what he received. And I'm led to believe he's on his way to being separated out.

The making false statements charge could have landed him 5. This is a comparatively light sentence, which I speculate is a result of a plea. And I'll let your imagination run wild about what kind of deal may have been struck if so.

Also worth mentioning: Pistolis wasn't charged with assault, he was charged with lying and violating orders. He is on camera appearing to attack people, potentially including me, but to my knowledge no one has sought charges against him for that.

This story isn't over and I would caution against drawing any conclusions or writing any fairytales about it.

He's not staying in the Marines so calm down and get your facts straight. They're required to wait until the seven day clemency request period has passed, but no matter what they will not be keeping him on. He's looking at a BCD which means he's lost all his veteran's benefits.
-
> get your facts straight *reports facts as given to me by author of article* > they're required to wait *updated comment fron USMC confirms adsep* my friend, does "4thewin" mean the same thing as "being wrong" to you? If so, nice work.
-
That's rich coming from the person who seriously thought the Marine Corps was going to keep a white supremacist that had just been convicted via court martial. Instead of waiting for more information you had a Twitter freakout.
-
You mean like how they kept Michael Chesney for almost a year? Gosh where would I get that impression?
-
shows that you don't know what you're talking about.
-
oh weird how none of those things apply in this case. kinda fun how you're just making stuff up because you can't handle being wrong. i actually know precisely when Chesney's adsep started so the irony here is rich
-
If you knew what you were talking about, you'd know that Chesney was arrested simultaneously with another Marine, who faced the same issues and was processed out much faster, so literally none of your explanations hold.
-
Again: that's not how it works. Just because one case followed a given path does not mean the other has to. The different duty stations and commands alone can mean drastically different timelines. Again: if you had any clue about how the military works then you'd know that.

Ive seen the Marine Corps put outstanding Marines who struggled with alcohol out flat on their asses Pistolis, meanwhile, is a member of a violent, seditious group that terrorizes Americans. Any excuse about why he's still a Marine, know it's just that: a rotten, hollow excuse.
-
I’m really hoping it’s because they needed a completed conviction to initiate chapter. They will have to do it whil he’s in the brig.
