During WWII, to disseminate propaganda, the Nazis invited to Red Cross to Terezin to inspect the camp. Extreme preparations were made to make it look palatable.https://twitter.com/jacobsoboroff/status/1007051033049214976 …

Instructions to employees in the lobby of the shelter if you encounter media: 1) “Immediatelt notify PD,” or the police department. 2) Call the shelter communications director. In that order. For the record, nobody called cops on us. We were invited by HHS and the shelter.

Inspectors were allowed only in certain areas. Questions they asked of the captives were ignored. Rooms along this pre-set path were ensured to have no more than three people.

What horrors are happening at the ICE camps they *won't* allow the media to see? We *must* start acting.

Once we were greeted as liberators. Who will be greeted as liberators this time? It's time that our neighbors in Canada and Mexico start having serious discussions about taking in these kids.

I'm a little distraught that the response is, "omg look at what's happening" and not "omg this is what's happening and also this is what they're letting us even see???"

Evil follows a script. Liberal Arts and Humanities teach how to recognize evil. NCLB deprived a generation of their Humanities.

Similar preparations were made in the camps even when other Nazi officials would visit. For example, when Albert Speer visited Mittelbau-Dora and Mauthausen, preparations had been made beforehand to make the conditions appear more liveable.
