I’m aware. There should be. There have to be. And people like you should build them.

why the fuck should I have to do more work

I hope my kids generation takes on the challenge. They have few places to turn and so many of them now know someone who is trans. I meant no offense.
-
but maybe also cis people in your generation can do the work
-
At least I’m woke to the issue. It’s more than anyone can say for most of my generation. I’ll keep taking care of the kids around me, it’s a small something but it’s something.

"At least I'm woke on the issue, but I'm just gonna push the responsibility to change it onto the next generation"

I said no such thing. In fact I told the story of my son and his core group of friends whom I’ve helped and I see the need for care. For intervention and education. Check your hate. I’m an advocate for those kids. I’m the only one they’ve got.

You said "I hope my kids generation takes on the challenge" earlier. I think that's pretty in line with my interpretation of what you just said. We need accomplices not allies and advocates, but good on you for reaching those kids I guess.

She means well, but yeesh. Our unemployment statistics aren't from a lack of trying. I used to work for a company that HRC gave a 85 rating to and there was still a lot of bullshit and lacking of support when problems arose.

Perhaps we need to see how other minorities got a foot in the door. Likely we'd need a rich benefactor to run a training program and helped people get placements.
