can anyone in gamedev tell me how T-pose happens? I assume it's a failed animation load. How can that be intermittent? like literally, it's a file on a hard drive, how can it just not load and how is that not an assert crash?

Like how does an anim fail to load *sometimes*? what situation that isn't a memory protection violation would cause that? the data to load is all constant, not generated. I've been baffled for years
