Ive seen far too many folks who are optimistic about the outcome here. Even if things do turn out alright there’s going to a massive amount of suffering along the way.

We are looking at the loss of 1 in 5 jobs worldwide and 1 in 3 in advanced nations over the next 12 years. Automation may disproportionately affect minorities and low income workers, but it will also be replacing high-skill top earners. UBI will look tame in the coming years.
