I miss having a car with an accessible engine. My head gasket is leaking and it's estimated as 5-hrs labor for an experienced mechanic. So much stuff has to be removed that I don't trust myself to remove and get it back correctly without breaking stuff.
I had to pull the throttle body to swap the thermostat on mine. That was not fun. And I had to pull the coil pack entirely out to change the rear plugs(transverse V engines can be annoying)

I don't suppose anyone knows how to fix the climate control on a Volvo 850? I think it's just the solenoid didn't fare well in the icy winter climes of January, because that's when the climate control bugged out on me.
Doing an evaporator repair on a Focus myself. Shop wanted to bill 10 hours of labor. Have to remove the entire dash, instrument panels, etc.
