I started playing with AR tools and and tried them out in this project I had in mind for some time, but couldn't figure out how to make before: a 3D immersive puzzle of a photo sphere.

Having fun with matcaps in #threejs.
I have the feeling there is a lot of potential to explore with matcaps but haven't found a way to make them interactive yet. Here the spheres normals are randomly offset so the matcaps aren't all facing the same way
