    There’s an incredible energy in the halls of Congress today. We make progress when our country’s representatives look more like our country itself, when more women, people of color and young people hold office. Today is a huge step forward, and we’re just getting started.

    Happy first day of legislative session! is starting w/ near gender parity and Emerge has affiliates in all but 2 of the Top 10 states for women represented in state capitols. Proud to have been building the bench since 2012!
