Damian Green Tory MP saying on that we all need to start paying towards an insurance type system to pay for our care. And there it is. That is what we are going to get.

This message is to anyone else who has an insane idea to make homes for the homeless out of wheelie bins. DONT. It's rude. Demeaning. Dangerous. Homeless people have died in bins when the binmen have not realised they were inside. Or maybe the bins come with picket fence.

... neither is good news. But if we’re going to call “deadly” (and it is: it has potential to kill millions across the planet if it takes hold globally) then we also have to be honest about the politically-created deadly reality of ED crowding.

It's easily done. I remember when I was in the TA and I left my potato peeler in the khazi when we were on exercise on Salisbury Plain. My CO found it and yelled at me 'Francois, what is this, yamateur hour?'

If the risk of dying from is indeed about 2%, that’s safer than spending 12+ hours on trolley in a UK Emergency Department waiting for a ward bed (c3% ⬆️ mortality risk, from & ’s leaked preliminary figures).

I, as a black person, am sick to death of people like this using their position of privilege as a way to lecture people in this country about events they have nothing to do with. Slavery and colonialism are HISTORIC WRONGS for a reason. Focus on your constituents, we’re in 2020!

Had a surgical consult today where I was told that hospital policy is to provide only IV tylenol for acute post-surgical pain, even for open abdominal surgery. That should be classified as actual fucking torture. Looking for another hospital for my surgery, obviously.

I would settle for the computers in our resuscitation room actually powering on, and the mouse scroll wheel working. Patients should always come first You would think with all your tech talk, that you are setting up your future career..
