Am I the only one who actually LIKES @TeamYouTube's decision to (re)raise the #PartnerProgram requirements to 1,000 subs / 4,000 hours?
#BackInMyDay you needed to be INVITED. Being partnered was sometihng you EARNED. It meant something! Twitch is the same way!
I was livid last night, but I didn't really give myself time to think because I was so used to YouTube pulling shit on everyone for no reason. Now that I think of it, this won't really be a problem as long as small YouTubers stay motivated and strive for excellence.
