    Seeing deliver the Scottish Budget as a 29 year old woman is awesome 🎉💪🏻 Women are often overlooked for finance roles in gov and parliament, especially young women. Moments like this help to dismantle stereotypes that economics is not a women's issue!

    The thing I find most exhausting about tech culture is that “innovation” is held up as a core value. Novelty is not inherently good. I’m more interested in doing what’s effective and humane than in doing what’s new.

    Good reminder that new technologies aren't implemented in a vacuum. There are always a social, economic & political components to their deployment e.g. this advice isn't being given to investment banks to help scan their white-collar workers' faces against criminal databases
