I agree. There are many things to be improved upon. The education crisis in Oklahoma is serious, but primary handled by the state. Congress has fallen short in supporting Title 1 and Special Education onligations. Increased funds for those programs would help the state.

Healthcare needs improvement for sure, especially in rural communities. I’d like to see ideas on strengthening healthcare access. I’d have to see a single-payer proposal before committing. My hope is to improve on current legislation rather than scrap it, but it’s a priority.

Having a degree in Sociology & by studying criminology, I see areas for improvement in the criminal justice system. Extravagant sentences do little to rehabilitate and the more time in, the higher the chance of recidivism. Non-violent crime shouldn’t come with decades in prison.
