Ok. House Dems want 7% GPT which ISN’T going to happen anytime soon. So many teachers are against #StepUpOklahoma even though the OEA is on board. As a teacher and a Democrat, I want compromise from both sides but it doesn’t look good. #TimeForAPoliticalPartyChange?

I’m really surprised there’s very little discussion on how the plan adds 4 year’s of eligibility to the lifespan of politicians in Oklahoma. We often talk so much about career politicians and here we go adding time.

At this point in American history, if we as voters don’t do the research on a candidate/incumbent, we deserve what we get.

It’s hard to even get in the door to meetings if your not part of the system. I learned this quickly when I announced that I will be running this year. Resistance to common folk is real.

The “good ‘ol boy” system has got us where we are now and I hate it. Oklahoma is in the worst shape ever, or at least since the Dust Bowl, and both party’s are pointing fingers blaming the other party for the budget fiasco. It’s ridiculous....

Yes, as a state we have governance issues. I’m not a fan of the finger pointing. It would be great if someone stood up and said, “yep, we messed up”. I quit buying lottery tickets when the money was diverted to other funds and the state was ordered to pay it back to the Edu fund.
