The #PaycheckProtectionProgram is saving businesses and families in Oklahoma. During this second round, more than 20,000 loans have been approved totaling almost $900 mil. Between these loans and the first round of help from the program, Oklahoma has received almost $5.5 billion.
Some businesses are receiving help, but many are not. There are disparities among non-white businesses being turned away. PPP wasn’t a perfect plan, and attention needs to be focused on its failures. Credit is due the non-governmental people who are pulling us through. Not DC.
