    Expecting instant results is bullshit. We should WANT people to take time and confirm paper trails. It's okay if the cable news outlets have to wait. They should rethink their hype machines. Also, caucuses are bullshit. They're bullshit when my fave wins and when they don't.

    New statement from the Iowa democratic party being read by on CNN right now. "We found inconsistencies in the reporting of three sets of results. ...The underlying data and paper trail is sound and will simply take time to further report the result."

    It's a sign of how crazy the news cycle is right now that the United States three days ago barred immigration from the largest economy in Africa--a quarter of the continent's population is now barred from the US--and almost nobody is talking about it.

    When the primary hits my state, I'll vote for Elizabeth Warren because I think she'd do the best job. Yes, all of the primary candidates have real flaws, including Warren. Whoever carries the nomination will get my vote, because they'll be vastly better than what we have now.

    This, and the fact that has the highest “second choice” stats for all candidates makes it clear that Warren has been most focused on bringing the party together—whether she wins the nomination or not. And that’s frankly a pretty good reason to support her to win.

    I’m a bit late, but it’s pretty incredible that zero percent of Warren supporters said they wouldn’t support the nominee if it wasn’t her. It’s a testament to the unifying nature of her candidacy.

    Just got off the phone with my mom explaining to her why she shouldn’t go to her sister’s funeral in Nigeria next week. Despite being a US citizen for 20+ years and a military vet, she could have problems returning. I’ve seen the stories of citizens being detained and mistreated.

    Nigeria is Africa's most populous nation & largest economy. they've been a key U.S. partner in both counterterrorism & trade. Nigerian-Americans are the *highest-educated ethnic group in the U.S.* why the hell are we adding them to the travel ban?
