Errors documented have resulted in

My wait to see a geneticist was 2 1/2 years, July 2021, but I can't imagine having someone else order the tests. After waiting almost 40 years to find out I needed a genetic workup, I want it done by a qualified, fully competent doctor to make sure nothing else gets missed.

That geneticist probably works with or is supported by genetic counselors. Just sayin’

This is maddening. Had family testing been ordered by a GC, instead of a GYN (who did not not what to do with a VUS result despite a five generation family history of cancer), I would have had RR surgery 4 years before the variant was reclassified as Pathogenic and I had cancer.
