    Those who continued to be butt-hurt by this decision, however, were all white. I'd like to say none were young, but that isn't the case at all.

    Posted this announcement by Dr. Seuss Enterprises over on FB, and as I said there I don't condone censorship (as an often banned author, especially). That isn't what this is, however. The FB discussion got a bit heated, but a few people stepped back and rethought.

    These same would-be destructive fools are donning red shirts and leading a brigade to the Carson City Capitol today to claim 80K election violations -- on the same day the Capitol in DC is closed because of a credible threat thanks to the lies spread by Trump and folks like this.

    "I'd like to call this meeting to order, Electoral College for the state of Nevada." ---State GOP Chair at a meeting that is not the Electoral College. "They literally stole the votes from us. They manufactured votes." The joke goes on, the buffoonery will never die.

    I doubt many of us, left or right, will ever forget. The real issue is.... which side believes in the democratic (small d intended, and why should I have to say that, anyway?) process.

    Never forget that in 2020 an American President who lost an election refused to give up power. The first time in American history this had ever happened. Never forget.

    Today is the birthday of my absolute best friend, grade 5-8. We've managed to stay in touch over the years, and I always try to call her on this day. She had a huge memory loss around 10 years ago, and it hasn't all come back yet. We just spent an hour reliving, remembering.

    I have a little brother, both of us adopted. Always wanted a sister. Found my beautiful bio sister 15 years ago. Meanwhile, found sisterhood among a few amazing friends. Tonight, I reached out to all of them. Because sometimes you really need female energy in your life.
