You: "I'm giving up on writing, no one reads books anyway." The CIA: “books differ from all other propaganda media primarily because one single book can significantly change the reader’s attitude and action to an extent unmatched by the impact of any other single medium.”

The replies underneath are unbelievable lol. No one said low-income people can't afford the vaccine. We know it's free in the US. The point is that if low-income people don't want it for whatever reason, they will be impacted the most by job loss and other punitive measures.

Just a friendly reminder... the FDA is currently led by Janet Woodcock, who helped unleash mass death on America by approving opioids including Oxycontin for 11 year olds and Zohydro, which the FDA’s own scientific advisory committee declared unsafe

Neoliberal authoritarianism is more insidious then the popular understanding of authoritarianism. Neoliberal authoritarianism that we are currently being subjected to in the U.S. is the neoliberal state coordinating and farming out repression to private corporations.

Just review that above list of the usual left-liberal suspects who mindlessly followed in spreading this Fake News. It's mostly the some roster as those who spent 4 years following her into similarly deranged Russiagate mania (and who now want to censor the internet).

Today’s press constantly makes religious icons out of tendentious bureaucrats like Bob Mueller and “Saint” Anthony Fauci, strives to turn news narratives into Holy Writ, and delights even more than Falwell in its own version of divine retribution stories.

The CIA just casually discussed sinking a boat full of Cuban refugees and planting bombs in Miami and blaming Castro, but you're bat shit crazy if you suspect such agencies may have had similar discussions about other geostrategic situations and decided to go through with it.

Thanks to , formerly of , for this reminder. It wasn't just in the past the ACLU argued against such abuses. In 2020, under Trump, they warned of the grave civil liberties dangers from "immunity passports" -- 2 classes of citizens:

Even if Ivermectin is proven to be ineffective against COVID, lying about it being used in humans does not help your argument. Blindly smearing people prescribed Ivermectin does not help your argument.

This obvious misrepresentation of easily researchable facts is a great example of why people don't trust "mainstream" media. Even if you think the establishment COVID narrative is acting to protect the public health, blatant lies like this don't help your cause.

Ivermectin is prescribed to millions of humans who are infected with various parasites every year. Calling it a "deworming drug for cows" makes it sound like it's not used on humans and NPR chose this headline wording to specifically make Joe Rogan look bad.

It's inherently alarming hearing a civil liberties group use authoritarian clichés to justify state coercion over individual bodily autonomy. But it is even more jarring that it is a complete departure from what the group has long warned about pandemics:
