This article about the testimony given by Tsawout and Tsartlip Nations, whose territory I represent in the House of Commons, is a must read. I am honoured to work with and support these powerful First Nations in their fight against Trans Mountain.

Do Albertans understand that the courts halted this pending FN consultation? There is literally nothing that Trudeau or Kenney or Ford or Harper can do to push the pipeline through faster.

So I try to get an update on the latest NOAA El Niño seasonal forecasts and I get this: What has become of the once great American nation. It’s behaving like a banana republic and the markets are being pummelled in response.

A sad story. We need to do more to ensure the survival of this species, including reviving the province's stock.

This, so so much! I got involved in politics when I realized that no amount of personal struggle and sacrifice would have as much impact as relatively simple and even passive policy changes. We can only cause this problem together, and we can only solve it together.

The pretence that people should worry more about a price nudge on energy use today instead of trying to put the brakes on the massive and rising costs of climate change is on offer by some politicians on the right. It's the opposite of a responsible fiscal plan, imo

I am so used to people mispronouncing my name that I gave up caring, but it catches my attention when people say it right.

It's hard to understand how Premier can have it both ways. The pipeline to transport to BC must be built or the sky will fall, but at the same time is growing just fine. Perhaps not having a pipeline will push Alerbta to diversify & prosper?

  12. Canada's current target is not consistent with the science and only partially engages our best and most effective tools. Liberals have to face facts- being better than Scheer is a low bar. It does not reach Paris goals.

"If every top-10 nation matched Canada’s per-capita emissions, global emissions would more than double. If every nation in the world matched Canada’s per-capita emissions, global emissions would more than triple." And yet there are those who say we should do little or nothing.

What a great idea — California regulators unanimously approved a historic plan that will require most new homes in the state have rooftop solar panels that turn sunlight into electricity starting in 2020.

You’re one of us now, Lorrie :) Honestly, I just don’t think a reasonable view of climate change can be easily pegged, and that drives people bananas.

With today's column saying Elizabeth May is the only federal leader being honest & consistent on climate change I have achieved full climate hysteria status, simultaneously accused of being a climate denier AND refusing to admit man-made climate change is a hoax. My work is done.

It's 2019 and one thing our party knows for sure is that this year the government will continue using its taxpayer-funded propaganda channel to remind of you its hostility towards national action on climate change.
