Intersex has always been an LGBT issue. About every month I re-read "Bodies in Doubt: An American History of Intersex" by Elizabeth Reis. It's a reminder of how gay people and intersex people were viewed as equivalent monstrosities by colonial medicine.

Evicting the squats in Athens will have horrible results for vulnerable people living there as: 1. accommodation is not enough and 2. the government has no plan for the future other than appeasing their extreme right wing voters.

I made this gif to solidify something that I could not digest: that Zak was murdered. That this has actually happened. It says the most minimal truth about this story. It translates: 'They murdered Zak.' And it repeats it forever. Follow: .

“The current list price [of HIV drug Truvada] is $2,000 a month in the United States, correct?" she asked, referring to Truvada. "It's $1,780 in the United States," O'Day responded. "Why is it $8 in Australia?" countered.

The new Greek gov is focusing on safeguarding borders instead of refugee lives. More deterrence at sea and land borders instead of more search-and-rescue mechanisms and, of course, zero safe passage or access to asylum without the perilous journey. Shameful.

Access to abortion so you can continue your life and being anti-feminist? Thanks to feminism. Voting rights so you can waste it on anti-woman politicians? You guessed it right. Work rights? Yeah. Sexual liberation? Uh huh: you know the culprit for those long-overdue orgasms.

Hot-take: Everything a woman achieves is a contribution to, and a result of feminism, regardless of whether she identifies herself as a feminist or not. The only restriction being on what counts as 'a woman's achievement.'
