Let's be perfectly clear...there is NO intention to build such a Missile Defense system. If, in the future there is a need they will CONSIDER Fort Drum.

First thing, Elise..... the military DOES NOT ENDORSE political candidates. So stop trying Second, such a site would also be built by a military contractor. NOT LOCAL LABOR Finally, net gain? A handful of soldiers spending a few bucks around Fort Drum on groceries and amenities
I would like to hear an explanation on how this is going to bring thousands of jobs to the North Country (in an area that actually has jobs already). Yes, during the construction I'm sure there will be a huge influx of out of region out of state workers who will benefit.
And of course some local contractors will be lucky to be accepted to work on this by the Federal Government, and yes local businesses will benefit from the influx of workers and their families who will spend their money in the area. But when its all done, they will be gone.
This tired tale again? That’s all you got? Repeat episodes of so-called “results?”
This isn’t a #Result. It’s a unicorn rainbow.
Bro I’m not going back there, too cold.
@DeptofDefense
can you confirm that the deciding factor that went into this decision is Stefanik's congressional district NY-21?
Without Stefanik's involvement a different site would have been selected. Am I reading that right from Congresswoman's tweet?
