I am very concerned about the Governor’s announcement regarding shifting ventilators from Upstate to Downstate.
I represent demographically the largest number of seniors of any District in NY.
This is the most vulnerable age group facing #COVID-19 & needs to be considered.
North Country hospitals reached out abt this significant concern earlier this week. Our rural hospitals are already very limited in resources & we must ensure Upstate’s needs for testing supplies & ventilators are met. I’m committed to working thru these concerns.
You are right to be concerned about it. Older people and people with underlying conditions, which is most older people are most at risk for this virus killing them.
Instead of pushing ventilators why are you not pushing the drug cocktail that seems to be a cure for even those that are critically ill?
The governor needs to go to the federal government, not the small hospitals in the state!!
Governor can do whatever he wants to. Just like the President.

If Cuomo would let us test in upstate you would see we need our supplies. Unless you live here you have no clue.
