Unlike my opponent Taxin’ Tedra, I have never voted to raise taxes on #NY21 hardworking families because taxes are already TOO HIGH! The proposal on the House floor today includes a tax increase and only a partial short term restoration of the state and local tax deduction.
I want a complete and permanent restoration of the state and local tax deduction so that my constituents don’t face double taxation. And I won’t vote for a tax hike. I’m sure had she not been resoundingly defeated last year #TaxinTedra would eagerly vote for today’s tax increase.
Just like #TaxinTedra’s numerous votes to raise taxes on hardworking families in St Lawrence County during her failed tax and spend tenure on the County Leg (which flipped to Republican because of her tax hiking policies!) #WeCantWaitFor2020

Nah brah. That’s ridiculous. I shouldn’t subsidize local property taxes in NY NJ CA and CT. It’s ridiculous.
Unfortunately for your argument, it’s blue states like New York and California that end up subsidizing red states like Mississippi and Arkansas.
If someone's local taxes exceed $10,000 (the fed cap) the problem isn't the deduction cap. It is the state and local taxing agencies.
