Lastly, it’s most important for local candidates to get their message out to voters given small campaign budgets. I strongly support freedom of speech to communicate with voters where they are, which is increasingly on digital platforms.

I will continue to lead on cracking down on foreign disinformation campaigns on social media by closing loopholes & strengthening campaign finance laws. As an American, I believe strongly U.S. candidates should be able to communicate directly with voters to share our message.

Would you support a requirement for political ads on these (or any platform) to at least follow guidelines such as revealing the sponsor for the ads that the FEC demands elsewhere?
