At the airport this morning, heading back to Washington since Congress is in session this week, I thanked the @TSA at security check for their work during this shutdown. She was extremely professional and appreciative, however she shared her frustration about hardworking families
struggling during this shutdown. I will continue to cross party lines to vote at every opportunity to end this shutdown. I hope my colleagues in the House will work w/ the Administration and the Senate to come to a compromise to end this shutdown on behalf of the American people.

What compromise is needed? This is Trump and your party 100%. End the shutdown, THEN negotiate fair border security.

McConnell has to allow a vote on the bipartisan proposal that already exists.
Trump will veto it.
67 bipartisan Senators can override his veto and end the shutdown.
