I am concerned about our rising deficit, but I want to point out that under President Obama and Nancy Pelosi’s leadership, the deficit was over $1 trillion more than it is today. We need to continue focusing on economic growth. #NY21

Oh my god... you are not concerned about the deficit. You acted like you were when Obama was in the White House but now, anything goes. Who cares, right? You don't have kids who will have to pay the price, but I do.

Lol. Obama deficit when the economy was shattered after Bush’s term. No excuse to have this deficit during “prosperity.”

You must not be too concerned about the deficit. You worked to repeal the medical device tax. The same tax that funded the healthcare market place subsidies. So you actually raised taxes on the rest of us who will how be shouldering the uninsured as they stiff er bills.pic.twitter.com/gMutqk5tkB

Will your constituents realize that the deficits are higher during global recessions, when unemployed people are not paying taxes, and stimulus is necessary? And why is the deficit higher this year than last year?

Actually you are totally right. That crap you typed totally justifies using local children to spy on their neighbors to score points for your failing campaign. Right?pic.twitter.com/3Gdl7NvPO8

2008 big market crash, remember Bush? FY 2016 $585 billion, Obama last year. FY 2018 the federal deficit was $779 billion. But the gross federal debt increased by $1250 billion. So where does this trillion $ more come from? The market is slowing & about to crash. Vote @TedraCobb

Obama took over the worst recession in decades. Trump took over the one of the fastest growing US economy in decades. Please consider reading an economics textbook before tweeting.

Your faux concern about the Deficit, along with the rest of the @GOP, is an insult to the intelligence and common sense of your constituents, and Americans in general. We know you just cut taxes on the rich and ballooned the deficit on your way to cut social services. We know.

If you are suddenly concerned about the deficit, why did your party give away billions to the rich and the corporations, and why are you planning on raiding Medicare and Social Security to pay for your economic malfeasance? #stopthelies
