Pre-existing conditions???
As a constituent/payer who called your office to not take away the Cadillac tax, funding for others who need affordable healthcare, I can’t believe you tout this as a positive in a district that needs this help. The monetary contribution was no sacrifice to assist others.
The “Cadillac Tax” doesn’t hit until 2023, it doesn’t “pay” for the healthcare of those with ACA coverage, it ONLY serves as a punitive tax on 181 million Americans who get their health care through their employer. The #CadillacTax is driving US healthcare in the wrong direction
Plus, despite your list, healthcare costs are up 24% in 2018 in New York State, mainly due to uncertainty in the market due to piecemeal band-aid GOP response to healthcare challenges. Just paid almost $400 for GENERIC epi pen. That’s ridiculous. No results I can see.
