Some quick math: In the first two days of early voting in #HarrisCounty, 11.6% of registered voters cast a vote either in person or through a mail ballot received by the county.
In the first 2 hrs today, another 13.7k voters.
At that pace, plus turnout on election day, we're looking at record breaking overall turnout. Even if this is an enthusiastic & frontloaded turnout, these numbers are impressive.
And since Harris County & other TX urban areas have shifted significantly more Dem in the last decade, there is a very real chance to flip Texas this year. It's not a done deal until the votes are cast, but the enthusiasm isn't waning!
