Dont know about others,but I never really grasped math until using it IN DAILY LIFE Baking=fractions Double a batch=multiplication of fractions Where to plant a garden w a tree casting a shadow? =Geometry How much water is in the bathtub? =volumetrics Sitting w computer=ZZZ
I taught math. It's WAY easier to do when it feels like something you actually use. I like to use pizza for fractions and money for decimals.

Pizza is great! I taught cooking. Astounded adults could’t use basic math in recipes+correlate to spoons,cups,scale in front of them Yay for metric,but most Americans are dumbfounded until/unless they meet science
