Well, with all due respect, not all “private” planes are gulfstream G600s. I have been on several and they have taken me to places where “normal” carriers do not go and driving would have literally taken days.
Clearly you misunderstood. I meant an aircraft carrier.

Ha! No, I got that! I was just saying flying private does not always involve a $20k/hr executive jet. But being catapulted of a carrier actually sounds fun! But then I do HALO jumps for fun too!

I will have to take your word that not all private flights are that expensive (and that makes sense that like anything else there's a range). Still out of the price range of any regular working class family.
