What I've been thinking during this whole excuse to send kids back to school. We've shirked a lot of things off to schools including parenting.

Breakfast and Lunch
Healthcare
Childcare
Education
If our education system is responsible for all that, why haven’t they been funded and treated that way?

Yes. It's the families who need the most services who are hit hardest by schools being closed/virtual. So now they have to choose between risking their health or accessing the services they need.
