Senators get a paycheck, even if they don't pass any legislation. Most people don't get paid if they have to take so much as a sick day. I am sick of politicians asking me for money! I spent 8 weeks making no money, trying to catch up again. These people have a lot more money than me. Now they’ve not made a deal to help the people get through this pandemic. I’m pissed about it because not one of those folks
Fundraising is part of my job as Exec Dir for a PAC, but I hear you. I'm not personally someone who can write a big check. I'm a single mom and was a teacher before I ran for office. Use your voice, fight for democracy, and know that the worthy politicians appreciate that.
