Joe, HPD's budget is almost $1 billion. Maybe you could sell that tank. If we both don't want police to be social workers or mental healthcare providers, maybe fewer police with better pay and a smaller job scope would work. Come to NYC where I live. NYPD's budget last year was 9 billion & they were outraged that NYC Council slashed 1 billion from their budget for new fiscal yr, to use for Education & Health. Their union cried foul. Less military toys to buy & use on residents.
