A black man was found hanging from a tree in Houston. Today. June 15th, 2020. It's being called an "apparent suicide" - while I suppose that's possible, I am highly skeptical.

Update: More details released indicating this was a Latino man who was battling depression. Mental health care is an important part of healthcare and is not readily available for too many people. The recent spate of hangings is problematic on many levels.

Millions of people battle depression. I don't see millions of people hanging themselves from trees. I would also like to know how common of method of suicide is that anyway ? Wake up people !

Not to say that nothing fishy is going on but I have seen things where people commit suicide in the same manor especially if it's publicized.
