Agreed, I swore and oath to the constitution, not a single man or ideology. I'm happy to see statements like these come out, but I'm also deeply troubled that we've reached a point that they are needed.
I too swore an oath to protect and defend the Constitution when I served, and it's why I ran for Congress. It is a sign of the times that the normally nonpolitical military made this statement.
