Last night 200+ protesters in Houston were arrested. But that's after the police used tear gas, flash bangs, and kettled them so they couldn't leave. So @ArtAcevedo and @SylvesterTurner, you need face that HPD has its own issues. I've seen the videos so I'm sure you have.
Accountability in govt isn't limited to officials of just one party. I voted for Turner, because I do believe he was the best choice on the ballot. But we have the power to change things here - and it's up to us to hold our leaders accountable for that.
@ArtAcevedo is too busy having photo opps and ignoring video evidence. He doesn’t have time to hold criminal cops accountable. HPD has some huge bigots in its ranks.
