Talking with my daughter this morning about what our criminal justice system is *supposed* to look like. Due process, access to a lawyer, innocent until proven guilty, burden of proof. We need to reform our criminal justice system and how we police our communities.

My son and I had this discussion this am...curious..do you feel the video was ample evidence. If you do not, why? Due process does not have to be slow.. esp in the day of social media.
I will preface this by saying that I am not a lawyer. And my conversation was more about how the police treated Floyd in violation of his rights. I do believe that the officers involved should be facing charges.

good to know... my personal opinion is that in the face of overwhelming and recorded evidence from multiple sources the "proven" part of innocent till proven guilty has already been met. The rest should proceed post haste and the laws should be changed to reflect that.
