Federal guidance is now to continue social distancing measures through April 30th. That's good, because data shows that's what we need to do. But we still need to think about how we are addressing the needs of those who are losing income. A single check isn't enough.
That's a good start. But that only helps for those who can get unemployment. I know for a fact that here in Texas, the Texas Workforce Commission is literally not answering the phone lines.
