Without arguing about rights, it is also true that better access to healthcare is better for *everyone.*
Texas has nearly 5 million uninsured and millions more underinsured. I’m fighting for universal healthcare because healthcare is a human right.

Yes. I learned of an uninsured cancer patient who was told to wait until December and get on "Obamacare" because if he went to the hospital that treats the uninsured he'd be dead before he ever got any treatment. Healthcare in America, what a disgrace.
