Where does 15/hr come from? How did we arrive at that number? And how did we conclude that $15/hr is appropriate in places where that won’t even pay the rent?
If a job is important enough to be done, it’s important enough to be paid a living wage. Every worker deserves at least $15/hr and a union in their corner. Dan Crenshaw said he wants to be the party of Uber. I’ve driven for them. I’d much rather be the party of workers.
