And the people most vocal about hating immigrants are descendants of immigrants or immigrants themselves. Actually many were closer to invaders so have even less right than they claim to deny others.

I fail to understand the disappointment. Abbott has shown us who he is time and time again. I would have been shocked if he went along with resettlement.
