I am not surprised at all. My father had a massive stroke and the VA refused to pay his hundreds of thousands worth of bills. He was 100% disabled. They denied the bills because he wasn’t taken to a pre-approved VA center. We have no VA hospital in this area of the state.

He had to be airlifted and then once stabilized transferred to the VA where they denied him stroke rehab and left him to die like the rest of the vets. I am tired of our vets getting denied treatment!! The fam went bankrupt after the VA refused to pay his bills.
