how about some context? Just about anyone can mismanage their finances to the point they need additional income. It would help to know how your salary compared to others in the area.
As a teacher I had to drive for Uber and tutor just to make ends meet. Our teachers can’t teach if they are worried about their second (or third) job and paying the bills. We must raise teacher pay and fight for livable wages.

Only data I have a real life is in Florida from 2016, where you teach at a public high school and you will make around $35,000 a year, where you have to also teach.. mark work build lessons, staff meetings Administration... it just goes on and on, I actually quit after one month.

I agree that we must do something about teacher's pay. However, there are many issues that are plaguing our schools. I would also raise the issue that some teachers are not doing their best. We're teaching kids like they're in the 50's.
