Cardnell never said he brought in a phone; however, several other GOP congressman brought their phones into the meeting - an unethical move by the GOP caucus.

No only that, but Republicans on the involved committees are able to participate in the depositions and read the transcripts. Many of them aren't even choosing to do this work. Surely their constituents would want them to be paying attention.
