This morning I woke up to news of another tragic shooting. This time it was the loss of a 6 year old boy and two others, and even more were injured. While we are still waiting on all the details, I can’t help but be upset. As a mom, I’m sick and tired of politicians offering thoughts and prayers after shootings but not willing to do the hard work of protecting our kids. 2/
We need real reform like universal background checks and extreme risk protection orders. The majority of Americans support these solutions, yet they are being blocked by Republicans. We need leaders in Congress who will stand up to the corporate gun lobby and protect our kids. 3/
