What about a higher than $15 for 18 plus and $11 or so for under 18. Also tipped wages need to be considered. Might be needed to get passed. But $15 isn’t even enough.
Texans shouldn’t have to decide between paying for rent or their next meal. Every worker deserves a living wage. We need to act now by increasing the minimum wage to $15/hr.
